On Courts 5-8:
Every Wednesday during slots 7:00am – 10:00am it is Women’s open play
Every Thursday during slots 7:00am – 10:00am it is Men’s open play
Any other time, it is Open Play for all, just show up and have some fun! If there are more people than there are court spots, we do a paddle queue play where you just place your paddle in the provided white bins (in the next available slot). Once a game finishes up and there are 3 other people with their paddles in the bin ready to play, you and those people get to dinking, spiking, and enjoying the game!
On Courts 1-4:
All slots are reserved. You are not able to reserve a court on this site. We are just here to organize events and social activities to bring you the best pickleball experience we can. You will need to log in to your Sarasota National Golf Club account to make reservations there.
We are looking for members to help with Events, Activities, Socials, Leagues and Competitions. Please send us a note with your interests using the contact form or our email [email protected].
Click here for a guideline from USAPA that may help you find your level. It is not an exact science so do your best and be honest with yourself.
1) Only make line calls on your side of the pickleball court and always strive for accuracy.
2) Only call “out” balls when space is clearly visible between the line and where the pickleball lands.
3) Call “out” balls promptly.
4) Use a voice and / or hand signals to call “out” balls.
5) Give the benefit of doubt to your opponents.
6) If you and your partner disagree, the ball is “in”.
7) Spectators should not make any line calls.
8) Do not question opponents’ line calls unless there is a referee.
9) You may ask your opponents to make a line call (but you give up your right to make the call and, if your opponents cannot make the call, the call will be “in”).
10) An “out” call prior to the pickleball bouncing will be deemed partner communications and not a line call.
11) You may overrule a line call that is to your disadvantage (and in favor of your opponents) at any time.
